Matt Gress is a fresh conservative leader who won’t back down from a fight”

PHOENIX – Former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer today endorsed Republican candidate Matt Gress for the Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 4, calling Gress the conservative choice who can get the job done for his constituents.

“Joe Biden’s policies are hurting everyday Arizonans, and I know from experience that we need good conservatives at the state Capitol to push back on the federal government. Matt Gress is a fresh conservative leader who won’t back down from a fight,” Governor Brewer said. “As Governor, I fought everyday to defend Arizona. I know Matt Gress has the integrity and moral compass to protect the state we love. Whether it’s pushing back on historic inflation or defending our border, Matt is a fighter and a conservative. I’m proud to endorse him for the Arizona House.”

Governor Brewer has an incredible record of public service and leadership. She served as the 22nd Governor of Arizona. Before becoming Governor, Brewer served as Arizona Secretary of State, as a Maricopa County Supervisor and as a highly respected member of both houses of the Arizona Legislature, where she rose to leadership in the state Senate.

“Governor Brewer saved our state during a time of great challenges,” Gress said. “Whether it was leading us through the Great Recession or standing up to the Obama administration to protect our border, Governor Brewer has an accomplished track record of selfless service to our state that I hope to emulate. Governor Brewer continues to fight for Arizona and stand up for our conservative values. I am very grateful to Governor Brewer for her endorsement in this campaign,” Matt Gress said.
